Teaching history to children in a way they want to learn

Samuel Pepys
The great Plague, the great fire and my great life!

So you have decided to teach the topic of Samuel Pepys, the great fire and the great plague but theres so much more to his life that you may not know.
Sure you can read a book but wouldn't it be better to invite Mr Pepys along to your school to explain his life first hand?
Mr Pepys comes in all his finest clothing after the fire to explain all about who he was within society, what he saw and ofcourse how we know about him because of his diary. He will talk all about what he witnessed and with some very unique props install a fantastic interst in this topic so much so that he revisits many schools year after year.
Don't settle for an imposter who just bores the kids to death with talk,
let Mr Pepys 'WOW' the children from the moment they step into the room with his developed installation of facts and fun and also his activities that inspire the children to engage with their topic.....there may also be a few rats running around during the workshop and there may be quite a few laughs.
